About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather and understand the needs of end users, clients, and stakeholders;
Identify functional and non-functional requirements (performance, security, usability);
Define the functional vision of a solution in collaboration with teams.
Break down requirements into clear, manageable sub-problems;
Identify relationships between technical components;
Support development teams in designing optimal solutions.
Integrate security into development practices from the early stages of the lifecycle;
Implement and maintain automation, testing, security, and observability mechanisms;
Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of environments, tools, and pipelines;
Ensure robustness, reliability, and performance of systems in production.
Analyze, design, and participate in the development of features;
Implement solutions to ensure stability and performance;
Perform tests and trials;
Write and maintain technical documentation;
Participate in code reviews;
Produce test documentation;
Write well-commented code that complies with internal standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of software development or DevSecOps practices;
Ability to understand complex requirements and translate them into concrete solutions;
Ability to collaborate with multiple disciplines (development, infrastructure, security, product);
Rigor, analytical skills, and attention to quality.
French: Advanced
English: Intermediate
Please note that an intermediate level of English is required due to the nature of the tasks, including regular communication with employees and managers outside Quebec.
