About the role
- Leads and evolves the APC care delivery model across multi-state markets
- Partners with executive and clinical leadership to drive scalable innovation
- Oversee development and implementation of clinical standards, workflows, and policy frameworks
- Accountable for clinical OKRs and key enterprise KPIs
- Partners with Data & Technology Services (DTS) to monitor and report performance
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Medicare Advantage, and applicable federal/state regulations
- Provides strategic leadership to APCs and management teams
- Builds and sustains a high-performing clinical workforce
- Serve as a key clinical advisor and connector across virtual care and external partners
- Identify opportunities to enhance clinical workflows and improve member and provider experience
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- 3+ years experience leading clinical staff, preferably within a high-risk clinic and/or home-based care delivery environment
- Master’s Degree NP or PA license with active board certification
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9 and HCPC codes
- Knowledge of clinical standards of care and proficient in clinical diagnosis and treatment skills
- Knowledge of UM standards, NCQA requirements, CMS guidelines, and Medicaid/Medicare contracts and benefit systems
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and calculate simple statistics correctly
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks; advanced problem-solving; ability to use advanced reasoning to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and design, implement and manage appropriate resolution.
- EMR documentation and workflows; Microsoft applications
- Current unrestricted state license and current state driver’s license; Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician Assistance Board Certification; Medicare Part D Prescriber; NP or PA license with active board certification
