About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with knowledge of securities industry, brokerage investing, and other company services
  • Help customers select the most appropriate provider for After Tax Brokerage Accounts
  • Provide information and guidance on qualified plan distributions, loans, investment choices, and specific plan rules
  • Identify appropriate IRA account types and communicate IRA options effectively
  • Navigate the internal PFC 529 website to retrieve college savings plan information
  • Build a knowledge base and communicate to employees what the advisor relationship is
  • Conduct customer and support interactions
  • Work independently to troubleshoot, research issues, and develop solutions
  • Educate callers on retirement and education funding concepts
  • Listen to customers and assess articulated and unarticulated needs
  • Use data to objectively guide, persuade, and influence customers
  • Ask relevant probing questions to assess customer needs
  • Engage with the Call Center and Defined Contribution Client Teams to help achieve goals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 years of financial industry experience
  • FINRA SIE certification required
  • Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 License within 6 months of employment
  • Ability to obtain FINRA Series 63 License within 6 months of employment
  • Ability to use conceptual thinking to identify patterns, apply concepts, and clarify complex information
  • Ability to educate callers on complex retirement and education funding concepts
  • Ability to listen to customers and understand articulated and unarticulated needs
  • Rapport-building and interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork skills to engage colleagues within the Call Center and Defined Contribution Client Teams
  • Ability to use data to persuade and influence customers while objectively guiding them
  • Ability to ask relevant probing questions to assess customer needs
  • Work authorization in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
  • Successful completion of a background check and any position-required checks
