About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain AI-powered search, summarization, and chat applications for the internal AI-powered search and chat platform
Build or integrate agentic AI systems involving multi-step reasoning, tool-calling, or autonomous workflows
Implement information-retrieval solutions including vector-based search, relevance ranking, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
Develop production-ready AI applications in Python integrating with AWS services
Build and tune OpenSearch/Elasticsearch indexes for semantic and keyword search use cases
Evaluate, tune, and refine AI models and system performance through experimentation
Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of overall IT or software engineering experience
At least 2 years of recent experience working with AI or ML solutions
Proven proficiency in Python
Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, SageMaker, Glue, and S3
Hands-on experience with OpenSearch and/or Elasticsearch
Familiarity with vector databases and vector search techniques, including embeddings and similarity search
Applicants must have work authorization in Poland that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship
Successful completion of a background check, as required for the position
Ability to participate in virtual interviews conducted on video
