About the role
- Own the lifecycle management of technology vendors, including onboarding, renewal, and exit
- Partner with Strategic Sourcing and Finance on vendor strategy, contracts, and cost optimization
- Establish vendor governance, performance standards, and review cadence
- Define and track KPIs, SLAs, and service metrics; hold vendors accountable for delivery and quality
- Evaluate technology products and vendor alternatives to ensure alignment with IT strategy and architecture
- Support vendor risk, security, and compliance assessments in partnership with Security and Risk teams
- Serve as the primary IT point of contact for vendor performance, escalation, and relationship management
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT vendor management, technology sourcing, or supplier management
- Experience managing vendors across SaaS, cloud, platforms, infrastructure, or managed services
- Solid understanding of contracts, SLAs, and vendor performance management
- Financial acumen, including experience influencing or managing technology spend
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally and influence without direct authority
