About the role

  • Design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications
  • Partner closely with client delivery, development, and support teams to resolve issues
  • Deliver enhancements and ensure reliable system operations
  • Support the growth of others through coaching and code reviews
  • Resolve issues with wide impacts
  • Facilitate outage restoration calls to access application impact and restore system issues
  • Produce solid technical documentation and provide root cause analysis
  • Lead client environment and systems requirement meetings
  • Train others in project management methodology

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of Java with at least 2 years in Application Support experience
  • Experience with APIs, AWS and Cloud-based Saas Platforms
  • Experience with New Relic Monitoring
  • Experience in gathering customer requirements
  • Server knowledge and Application Support
  • Knowledge of Quadient and Groovy
  • Highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Solid experience of Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle
  • Significant experience in Java /J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot
  • Knowledge of data formats, including JSON, XML, XSLT, and CSV
  • Knowledge of RESTful frameworks with focus on API development and support
  • Ability to use and manage GIT repositories
  • Experience with continuous integration and development pipeline tools such as Jenkins, Jira, and Artifactory
  • System integration using protocols including SOAP, REST, IBM MQ, JMS, Kafka
  • Understanding of Microservices concepts and frameworks
  • Database concepts, design and modeling (Relational and NoSQL)
  • Demonstrated experience with Spring and Spring boot, docker
  • Experience with Relational databases such as Postgres and DB2
  • Experience with Linux/Unix and Docker Containers
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or relevant business experience
