About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and communicate SAP Security strategy, roadmap, and target state
Act as the SAP security design authority across initiatives and releases
Provide leadership for S/4HANA transformations, upgrades, and system changes
Govern SAP access models, roles, authorizations, and Segregation of Duties (SoD) controls
Oversee SAP GRC programs, including Firefighter (EAM) and user access reviews
Support SOX compliance, internal audits, and external (Big 4) audits
Ensure secure and scalable design across SAP landscapes
Collaborate cross-functionally with SAP Basis, architecture, audit, and business teams
Embed security into transformation and operational processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of SAP Security experience (S/4HANA environment)
Experience with at least 3 S/4HANA greenfield implementations
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Strong expertise in roles/authorizations, SoD, and governance frameworks
Proven experience supporting SOX and audit environments (Big 4 exposure preferred)
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience in regulated, audit-driven environments
