About the role
- Development of IoT architectures: designing scalable, secure, and high-performance end-to-end architectures.
- Collaboration in a product trio: working closely with the CTO and the Head of Product Development.
- Technology evaluation and selection: analyzing various IoT platforms, hardware components, and protocols.
- Alignment with user and industry needs: advising customers on sustainable software solutions.
- Support for technical implementation: assisting with the development and integration of the solution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least five years of practical experience in software development and architecture in an industrial environment.
- Experience with Linux, C++, Python, and build tools such as Make/CMake.
- Experience with automated software testing and tools such as GitLab CI/CD and Docker.
- Understanding of business processes and how software can be aligned with real-world needs.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Very good communication skills in German and English (B2 or higher)
- High sense of responsibility and willingness to travel
