Key responsibilities & impact

Use AI-assisted development tools to rapidly generate, test, iterate and deploy code-based solutions
Build dashboards, internal tools, prototypes and proof-of-concept applications through conversational development
Translate ambiguous business challenges into functional technical solutions
Develop minimum viable products, prototypes and demonstrations for rapid idea validation
Refine solutions based on stakeholder feedback, user needs and data insights
Design and build data pipelines, dashboards and analytical tools using BigQuery, Apps Script and Looker Studio
Aggregate, clean and transform complex datasets into actionable insights
Use data storytelling to support strategic decision-making and influence stakeholders
Develop AI-enabled processes and operationalise agentic workflows for analysis, reporting and insight generation
Integrate machine learning and generative AI into marketing operations and internal tools
Support strategic planning across Google EMEA Marketing product areas
Contribute to transformation programmes using data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning
Build internal tools that simplify workflows, improve efficiency and reduce operational friction
Champion experimentation, speed and innovation within the Centre of Excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong analytical, logical and problem-solving experience within a marketing or commercial environment
Proven experience building data-driven tools, dashboards, applications or technical solutions
Experience with vibe coding, conversational development or AI-assisted coding workflows
Ability to translate ambiguous business challenges into structured, functional technical solutions
Ability to independently manage projects and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency or strong practical experience with BigQuery
Proficiency or strong practical experience with Apps Script
Proficiency with Looker Studio or comparable business intelligence and dashboard platforms
Proficiency with Google Colab or similar cloud-based development environments
Proficiency with SQL, including writing, reading, interpreting and troubleshooting queries
Experience with programmatic data access, integrations and APIs
Comfort using AI-assisted development tools
Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning and software development concepts
Experience using AI across analysis, automation, application development and insight generation
Understanding of agentic workflows, automation frameworks and AI-enabled processes
Ability to build and deploy lightweight AI-enabled tools and applications
Strong ability to communicate complex data and technical concepts through storytelling
