About the role

  • Lead South EMEA sales team (8 AEs in Paris) and act as figurehead for the region
  • Build and execute GTM strategy prioritizing France, then Italy, Spain and the Middle East
  • Drive sales growth, provide visibility over pipeline, coverage and forecast
  • Hire and retain top talent in the region
  • Provide clear and inspirational leadership and lead by example
  • Inform and educate the South EMEA market about Algolia
  • Analyze the current business and develop deep understanding of Algolia solution and customer use cases

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated success in sales leadership roles
  • Experience of running a high-performance sales team in the South EMEA region for a business of similar size
  • Strong track-record of driving revenue in an enterprise environment
  • Experience in martech, adtech, e-commerce, digital experience platforms, or customer engagement technologies is a strong plus
  • Excellent value-based sales methodology and sales process skills
  • Ability to take a planned, data-oriented and analytical approach, including transparent and accurate forecasting
  • Proven ability to attract, hire, motivate and retain top talent
  • Strong commitment to building relationships and working collaboratively, including with remote team members and business partners
