About the role

  • Hybrid IT Engineer role split ~50/30/20 across EUC, application management and project management
  • Serve as first point of contact for IT requests in all regions and provide end-user support
  • Administrate EUC tech stack (Gsuite, Okta, Atlassian, Zoom, Slack)
  • Deploy and sunset devices for end users in NA and APAC (macOS, Windows, Linux, mobile)
  • Inventory and maintain IT asset data and create documentation for users
  • Manage asset and service relationships and associated vendor contracts
  • Study and master Algolia’s user tech stack and propose/execute stack improvements
  • Coordinate across teams to design and manage internal SaaS deployments and ally with Information Security and Infrastructure
  • Identify procurement and sunset targets and maintain competency in AI tooling
  • Role may require up to 10% travel

Requirements

  • A BS in Computer Science or its equivalent in continuing education
  • 3+ years of technical support experience
  • 4+ years managing IT environments
  • Expertise with macOS and Windows and familiarity with Linux
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Experience administrating Gsuite, Okta, Atlassian, Zoom and Slack
  • Experience deploying and sunsetting devices (macOS, Windows, Linux, mobile devices)
  • Experience inventorying and maintaining IT asset data (serial numbers, software keys, locations)
  • Ability to create end-user documentation
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, service contracts, and procurement
  • Ability to coordinate across teams for SaaS deployments
  • Competency in AI tooling and administering AI-related tools
  • Strong communication skills, adaptability, task prioritization, and relationship-building
