About the role
- Drive product discovery to understand and define target users and product goals
- Formulate, agree and communicate strategy, vision, and roadmap with stakeholders
- Produce mockups, functional specs, and copy; push product through end-to-end lifecycle with engineers and designers
- Shape delivery processes and foster cross-functional team dynamics to deliver high-quality products
- Build and nurture an agile, iterative product culture
- Use analytical and quantitative skills to understand usage, prioritise, and report progress
- Understand competitive landscape and identify strategic partnerships
- Collaborate with legal, marketing, sales, and customer success to launch products, drive adoption and optimise retention
- Contribute to building Algolia's next-generation search APIs and the orchestration layer behind unified search results
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in driving product strategy and delivery in fast-paced B2B SaaS environments, ideally in infrastructure, developer platforms, or complex data products
- Proven experience building, launching, and scaling technically sophisticated products, especially those involving APIs, search or data processing
- Ability to deeply understand technical domains and translate technical capabilities into clear, customer-centric value propositions
- Strong user intuition and empathy across personas (developers, technical architects, business stakeholders)
- Skilled in leveraging qualitative and quantitative insights to inform product strategy, comfortable with analytics and experimentation
- Track record of end-to-end product ownership and shipping impactful products using agile practices
- Exceptional collaboration skills with engineering, design, product marketing, sales, and support
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- (Nice to have) Expertise in search & recommendations engines
- (Nice to have) Experience in zero-to-one efforts and continuous optimisation at enterprise scale
- (Nice to have) Technical background applied to customer-facing industry and business problems
- (Nice to have) Experience in or understanding of eCommerce and/or media
