Key responsibilities & impact

Assist the Lead Project Engineer or Project Manager on various projects.
Provide technical leadership across diverse project scopes.
Ensure compliance with Building/Energy Codes and LEED standards.
Develop mechanical system designs considering value add, efficiency, and sustainability.
Conduct energy modeling, system sizing, load calculations, and design layouts.
Prepare project start-up documentation and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
Ensure adherence to contract in project milestones and deliverables.
Manage project dependencies and conduct internal kick-off meetings.
Prepare life cycle cost analysis studies and conduct design option analyses.
Maintain positive client relationships, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5 -8 years of relevant experience in the design field.
Exceptional management and supervisory skills.
Highly knowledgeable of codes, standards, and construction/engineering processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple project deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Revit, and other engineering analysis and compliance software tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Professional Engineer (PE) Certification, preferred.
LEED Accreditation.
