About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Lead Project Engineer or Project Manager on various projects
- Provide technical leadership on small to large projects
- Perform electrical design using various engineering software
- Conduct voltage drop calculations, short-circuit calculations, and related studies
- Design emergency power supply systems and ensure compliance with NEC articles
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project team members
- Prepare project documentation and manage project scopes and schedules
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance procedures during the design process
- Conduct site observations and facilitate design and construction team meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in the design field
- Exceptional management and supervisory skills
- Highly knowledgeable of codes, standards, and construction/engineering processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple project deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Revit, and other engineering analysis and compliance software tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) Certification, preferred
- BMS and LEED Accreditation
