About the role
- Further development and maintenance of our financial model in a SaaS environment in direct collaboration with the executive management
- Preparation and regular adjustment of annual budgets and long-term financial plans
- Maintenance and optimization of financial processes, including documentation and standardization
- Monitoring and optimization of the collections process
- Preparation of detailed monthly financial reports for management and the Board
- Identification and analysis of variances compared to the financial model and formulation of recommendations for action
- Regular review of the feasibility and plausibility of the financial model
- Calculation of the financial "runway" (liquidity and cash flow forecasting)
- Preparation and updating of cash flow planning
- Support in preparing and updating business cases related to monthly reporting and the financial model
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience as a Controller, ideally in a SaaS environment or a related industry
- Solid knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and liquidity planning
- Very strong analytical skills and experience in variance analysis
- Experience in developing and maintaining financial models
- Confident use of common financial software solutions (e.g., Excel, ERP systems)
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Independent working style, high level of initiative and ability to work in a team
- Experience in collections management and the preparation of monthly reports
