About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and implement the corporate quality strategy
- Manage Alfa Laval’s quality standards for goods and services
- Drive compliance with all customer, governmental, and industry requirements
- Investigate quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformities; implement corrective and preventive actions
- Train and mentor teams on quality standards and best practices
- Collaborate with global Quality teams for benchmarking and support
- Lead and manage improvement projects from inception to completion
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Operations Management, or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality as a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, or similar role
- Demonstrated expertise with ISO-based quality systems
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other improvement methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt a plus)
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., VISIO, MS Project)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 40% across the U.S.
