About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Administer import and export compliance policies to ensure all international trade activities align with global regulations
Conduct independent restricted party screening of end-users and new customers
Analyze product data for Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) and Schedule B determinations
Assist with the administration and renewal of critical government export licenses (ITAR, EAR, USML)
Serve as an authorized corporate point of contact for inquiries from the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) and the Department of State
Proactively investigate supply chain operations for compliance vulnerabilities
Collaborate with the central legal division to design risk-mitigation strategies
Manage and audit corporate recordkeeping frameworks across US sites

Requirements

What you’ll need

bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Business Administration, or similar with relevant experience
Minimum of 2 years of direct experience with Trade Compliance (Export Compliance, Import Compliance or both)
Certification as a Certified Export Specialist (CES) or Certified U.S. Export Compliance Officer (CUSECO) preferred
Familiarity with Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT)
Strong familiarity with Entry Summary (7501) analysis HTSUS structures, ECCN matrices, and trade compliance architectures (e.g., e2open, ACE)
Knowledge of tax
Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency
