About the role
- Handle multiple customer projects with varied engineering requirements
- See projects through from order booking to customer handover
- Provide support and advise sales teams during the bid phase
- Ensure customer specifications and technical constraints are adhered to
- Move projects from kick-off through design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning phases
- Engagement with internal functions for purchasing and invoicing processes
- Keep accurate commercial records and provide justification for deviations and changes
- Delegate tasks to support project delivery
Requirements
- Experienced project engineer
- Customer-focused approach to projects
- Appreciation of time, cost, and resources
- Ability to network and form internal relationships
- Technical qualifications and/or significant time in engineering related roles
- Understanding of Windows and Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience operating in an NEC project environment
- Full driving license
