About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative, logistical, and instructional support for employee learning and development activities
- Manage employee training profiles and records in the agency’s Learning Management System
- Maintain audit-ready documentation
- Support new-hire orientation
- Serve as a primary point of contact for the Learning and Development Department
- Prepare, support, and close out new-hire orientation sessions
- Coordinate training materials, classroom supplies, participant documentation, equipment, attendance records, certificates, and other logistical needs
- Obtain and maintain agency-approved Handle With Care and CPR/First Aid certifications
- Serve as a certified co-instructor or instructional assistant within certification scope
- Support safe and effective employee learning experiences
- Respond to Learning and Development inquiries and provide customer service
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational development, psychology, education, or a related field preferred
- At least two years of administrative or program-support experience required
- Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, human resources, education, training, or a related environment preferred
- Experience coordinating classes, orientations, meetings, or events preferred
- Experience using a learning management system or electronic records system preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Required to obtain and maintain agency-approved certifications in Handle With Care and CPR/First Aid
- Excellent customer service, communication, organization, attention to detail, and professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
