About the role
- A leading U.S.-based edtech company is looking for a Middle Ruby on Rails Developer to join their fully remote team.
- Platform helps educational institutions manage and distribute digital learning materials — from e-textbooks to interactive courseware.
- Participate in all aspects of the application development life cycle: specifications, prototypes, development, QA, deployment and operations.
- Develop and modify internal and external software as part of a team of engineers.
- Check work in practice and use automated tests.
- Support day-to-day work of the team, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- 3+ years of application and API development experience
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
- Experience with Git or other source code control systems
- Working hours: 12:00–20:00 (GMT+2, Kyiv time)
- B2B cooperation is mandatory
- Ukrainian/Russian C1+
- English B2+
- Will be an advantage: Knowledge of modern web development technologies: PHP, JavaScript, web services (REST), MySQL
