• Run demos, identify use cases with sector experts, and translate business needs into GenAI solution requirements.
• Assess technical effort, feasibility, and business value to determine whether a use case is a suitable fit for GenAI.
• Align scope with the Solution Factory, prepare and facilitate discovery workshops, and build business cases (value hypothesis, KPIs, ROI, etc.).
• Oversee solution development and deployment, act as project manager for smaller implementations, and manage customer communications.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and support commercial activities for custom app usage.
• Lead onboarding and adoption efforts: deliver trainings, support change management, monitor customer health, and drive realization of value.
• Own renewals and support account expansion by identifying new use cases and managing related commercial steps (for smaller accounts).

AI Value Engineer

Full-stack Engineer

• As an AI Software Engineer in Model Evaluation, you will help design, implement, and scale the systems that measure our models’ performance at the cutting edge.
• You will work closely with researchers to create evaluation benchmarks, datasets, and environments that test model capabilities, safety, and reliability across tasks from multilingual understanding to mathematical reasoning and creativity.
• You will own significant portions of our evaluation infrastructure, including dataset generation pipelines, automated benchmarking tools, analysis dashboards, and large-scale evaluation orchestration on our compute clusters.
• You’ll be building tools and experiments that drive product decisions, shape research priorities, and guide responsible deployment of our models.
• This is high-scale, high-impact engineering: you’ll work with petabyte-scale data, run evaluations across large-scale distributed GPU clusters, and deliver insights that inform the direction of Aleph Alpha’s research.

AI Software Engineer – Model Evaluation

Frontend Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code
• Develop responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Vue.JS
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Work alongside backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of front-end components with APIs and other services
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and apply them to improve user experience

Research Engineer

• Research and develop novel approaches and algorithms that improve training of foundation models for practical use in real-world applications
• Develop large-scale, robust, distributed training and data generation pipelines
• Analyze and benchmark state-of-the-art as well as new approaches in LLM research
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers at Aleph Alpha, Aleph Alpha Research, external industrial and academic partners, and directly with customers
• Publish own and collaborative work on machine learning venues, and release code and models for use by the broader research community
• Own the entire lifecycle of model training, contributing to pre-training, post-training, synthetic data generation, and scalable training/data pipelines
• Deliver model artifacts that power product offerings and enable language model applications in finance, administration, R&D, logistics, and manufacturing processes
