Oversee the daily operations of the organization’s security operations center (SOC)
Manage a team of security professionals
Develop and implement security policies
Develop incident response protocols
Develop security monitoring strategies
Identify and mitigate security threats to protect organizational assets, data, and reputation
Develop strategies to manage security risks and balance short- and long-term business impact
Oversee SOC operations, incident response, threat management, security monitoring, threat intelligence, vulnerability management, security policies, compliance, and risk management
Anticipate AI/AIOps trends to optimize automation, log ingestion, and threat response
Develop security talent through hiring and actionable feedback
Set clear goals and remove roadblocks for the team
Build cross-functional relationships and collaborate with organizational partners
Work with company-wide leaders to improve processes and systems protecting patients, employees, and Aledade

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in security operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
Proven experience managing a SOC and leading incident response efforts
Strong understanding of SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls, and vulnerability management tools
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and manage multiple priorities
Experience with regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls
