About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Specialist is responsible for building, supporting, and sustaining organizational capacity in population health by developing impactful learning resources and educational materials
- Facilitating employee orientation sessions
- Managing the centralized team intake process
- Facilitating follow up for requests
- Overseeing end-to-end team communications throughout the year
- Drafting, coordinating contributions, managing content, and distributing communications
- Serving as a key contact for Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
- Supporting the annual ERG impACT project
- Providing ongoing assistance to ERG leadership
- Applying core concepts of population health, evidence-based practices, and health literacy in daily work and assignments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration or similar
- 3+ years work experience in healthcare or related field is required
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Health Education Specialist [CHES], Certification in Public Health [CPH], or Certified Health and Wellness Coach) are highly desirable
- Experience presenting and facilitating trainings, workshops, or educational sessions
- Excellent graphic design skills for creating visually engaging presentations and decks
- Strong writing and composition skills
- High level of cultural competency and ability to foster inclusive environments across groups
- Experience in project management, including managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder communications
- Highly organized and proactive in clarifying priorities and resolving blockers to drive tasks forward
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and translating findings into actionable insights
- Ability to leverage AI-powered tools to streamline content creation for learning and communication
- Ability to locate, interpret, and apply peer-reviewed literature to inform content development and recommendations
- Experience using data or evidence to inform strategy
