About the role
- The Business Compliance Manager will work closely with the Business Compliance Director to support compliance initiatives and enhance Aledade’s commitment to ethical practices and a proactive adherence to regulatory requirements. This role will focus particularly on compliance issues related to new business initiatives, especially those involving alternate payment models to operationalize regulatory and contractual requirements in order to meet business objectives. The Business Compliance Manager will help assess risks, implement compliance programs, and foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization. Additionally, the Business Compliance Manager will work closely with Aledade’s Legal-Regulatory team to provide compliance support, synthesizing complex regulatory requirements to provide the business with actionable compliance requirements.
- We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the US or be based from Bethesda, MD office.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Healthcare Administration, Finance, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in the healthcare industry with a strong focus on healthcare compliance program management, monitoring, auditing, or a combination of these areas.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and fraud, waste, and abuse laws (Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear and actionable guidance.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Demonstrated capability to render risk and business-based decisions in areas lacking explicit regulatory guidance.
