About the role
- Draft & Edit Core PR Materials: Write high-impact press releases, official company statements, and thought leadership articles for industry publications
- Website & Digital Copy: Maintain and update Alea’s corporate website, ensuring all information is current, SEO-optimized, and aligned with our product evolution.
- Awards & Recognition: Lead the drafting and management of award applications, crafting persuasive narratives that highlight Alea’s achievements to secure wins.
- Industry News & Trends: Act as an internal journalist, monitor iGaming trends and competitor activity to proactively suggest and create timely, relevant content that keeps Alea ahead of the curve.
- Content Management: create and maintain a repository of content accessible for concerning roles within Alea who can leverage existing materials in their customer facing activities and company’s presentations.
- Content Syndication: identify opportunities for republishing content in order to amplify reach and generate traffic back to the source (ie. Alea’s website)
- Brand Consistency & Quality Control: Tone of Voice Guardian: Ensure all written communication (internal and external) strictly adheres to Alea’s brand guidelines, maintaining a professional yet innovative tone.
- Proofread and edit content produced by other departments (Sales, Product, HR) to ensure grammatical accuracy and stylistic consistency before it goes live.
- Support the People team with internal newsletters and announcements to ensure company culture and updates are communicated effectively to employees.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to create compelling case studies, whitepapers, and pitch deck narratives that help convert leads.
- Create supporting content for major industry fairs (brochures, booth messaging, handouts) to ensure a cohesive message during events.
- streamline content delivery that can be leveraged by the other functions of the marketing team (PR and Comms, Digital Marketing, Events & Branding & Design), and create ad-hoc content for these other functions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Content Marketing, Corporate Communications, or PR, preferably within the iGaming, SaaS, or Fintech sectors.
- Exceptional copywriting and storytelling skills in English (native or near-native level is non-negotiable).
- Spanish is a strong plus.
- Ability to translate complex technical or business concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content.
- Familiarity with iGaming terminology, key players, and media landscape is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines (e.g., award submissions vs. press releases) simultaneously.
