About the role

  • Verify and assist in justifying construction project cost variances (budget lock), participating in biweekly cost variance review meetings for projects.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs from project drawings for coordination and to provide feedback to estimates.
  • Handle procurement requests using bidding/quotation frameworks.
  • Follow material requisition procedures.
  • Attend weekly procurement meetings with the supply team and the site construction team.
  • Support team development and process improvement.
  • Monitor availability of project documentation, budgets, and permits for projects not yet started, flagging any issues that could impact the start of procurement or site mobilization according to the planned schedule.
  • Contribute to analyses, KPI generation, and data verification using current systems and controls to help the area manager continuously improve the information and visibility provided to operations managers.
  • Serve internal technical operations teams via the company system, providing internal stakeholders with timely information and system guidance as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
  • Excel knowledge (intermediate).
  • Knowledge of cost analysis and procurement processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret project drawings and documentation.
  • SAP experience preferred (PS or MM modules).
  • AutoCAD and Power BI knowledge preferred.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Responsible and proactive attitude.
