About the role
- Launch and own the content strategy for ALEA's new iGaming affiliate website
- Define and execute content roadmap (reviews, guides, blogs, bonus pages, news) aligned with SEO and operator campaigns
- Develop a content calendar aligned with SEO priorities, seasonal opportunities, and campaigns
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of in-house and freelance writers
- Create content briefs and guidelines ensuring alignment with SEO requirements and brand voice
- Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, SEO-optimized, and compliant with iGaming regulations
- Collaborate closely with the SEO Manager to optimize existing and new content and implement on-page SEO best practices
- Monitor content performance (rankings, traffic, engagement, conversion) and adjust strategy accordingly
- Implement editorial standards and promote responsible gambling messaging across content
- Track content KPIs and report performance and insights to the Head of Affiliation
- Continuously optimize content based on data-driven insights
Requirements
- 5+ years in content management
- At least 2 years in iGaming, betting, finance, or similarly competitive industries
- Proven track record building and scaling content strategies that drive traffic and conversions
- Strong SEO knowledge and experience working closely with SEO teams
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience managing content writers, freelancers, and creative contributors
- Ability to create content briefs and guidelines aligned with SEO requirements and brand voice
- Analytical mindset and experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush
- Familiarity with iGaming advertising restrictions and responsible gambling requirements
- Fluent in English (mandatory); Spanish or Portuguese is a plus (LatAm focus)
