About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Actively participate in account analysis and reconciliation tasks, verifying reported balances, identifying and correcting discrepancies to ensure accurate accounting balances;
Classify and assess expenses by examining their nature to allocate costs of goods and services and post the appropriate accounting entries;
Maintain up-to-date inventory control for each branch, providing information and generating various management reports;
Perform inventory adjustments at the end of each month, reconciling physical vs. book inventory balances for the locations;
Analyze the behavior of income statement accounts: cost of goods sold;
Analyze the behavior of balance sheet accounts related to inventory: assets and liabilities;
Provide technical support on accounting classification and cost center allocation;
Prepare and distribute reports to related departments;
Stay updated on international accounting standards and changes affecting accounting;
File and maintain documentation under your responsibility in accordance with Company policies;
Comply with Company policies and procedures, proposing and implementing improvements, and taking responsibility for the quality, timeliness, reliability and performance of services and information produced;
Control the dispatch of documents for archiving;
Provide necessary support for inspections and audits;
Provide technical and theoretical support regarding accounting classification and procedures;
Study topics related to Accounting and related areas;
Keep up to date with relevant legislation;

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting (from the 5th semester onward);
Experience in accounting;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
