About the role
- Lead Process Safety initiatives at ALE's operational bases;
- Lead the routine evaluation of Process Safety indicators, promoting preventive programs and actions;
- Maintain regular coordination with internal areas to update actions mapped in ALE's Physical/Equipment and Human Barrier Management Protocols;
- Use risk analysis methodologies such as HAZOP and LOPA to prevent and mitigate process incidents and accidents;
- Actively participate in management of change and in investigations of process incidents and accidents;
- Support the Physical/Equipment and Human Barrier Management process;
- Conduct barrier audits and follow up on internal audits (Brazil);
- Serve as the focal point for Barrier Audits conducted by Glencore;
- Work with other support areas to develop preventive and mitigative measures aimed at preventing accidental releases of liquid products that could lead to fires, explosions, or other catastrophic consequences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Process Safety
