About the role
- Shape the engineering organization and establish execution systems
- Define engineering strategy across infrastructure, training, inference, and productization
- Implement scalable engineering processes and ensure high engineering velocity
- Build and lead a high-density engineering organization
- Partner with Product on roadmap and release sequencing
- Lead initiatives for security, observability, and compliance
Requirements
- 10+ years in engineering roles
- 5+ years in leadership
- Expert in distributed systems, large-scale ML infrastructure
- Experience with GPU orchestration, caching, batching, streaming, low-latency inference
- Background in foundational model teams, inference teams, or ML infra is a strong plus.
- Hands-on, principled, and rigorous leadership style
- Strategic thinker who enjoys diving into code, design reviews, and architectural critiques
