About the role
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding various HR matters
- Manage and support onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
- Provide support and guidance on performance management and employee relations
- Maintain employee records in the HRIS
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Support compensation and benefits administration
- Assist in coordinating training and development activities
- Prepare HR reports and dashboards
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and internal policies
Requirements
- Collaborative mindset and positive attitude
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
- Desire to contribute to a positive and engaging employee experience
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a generalist HR role
- Good knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience with an HR system (e.g., UKG, Nethris, Sage, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build trusting relationships with employees and managers at all levels
