About the role
- Project manage the design, creation, execution, performance and optimisation of marketing campaigns targeting prospective Anchor Clients with the end goal of increasing lead generation, prospect engagement and won conversion using outbound levers, all while retaining hyperfocus on delivering outbound performance.
- Develop outbound Anchor Client content to support the delivery of improved deal velocity across new business client leads and opportunities.
- Manage the selection of (by sector focus), planning, promotion, attendance, and performance of Anchor Cient focussed tradeshow / conferences, pre-event, onsite, and post-event working with our external agencies to execute where required.
- Manage outbound digital event marketing (i.e. webinars & webcasts) by Anchor Client target sector, including the selection, planning, promotion, attendance and performance of pre-event and post-event working with our external agencies where required.
- Work closely with the inbound performance team, content team and digital operations team to help amplify outbound prospective Anchor Client campaigns as needed to drive performance, e.g. social event promotion posts and ABM digital targeting.
- Devise and drive data-driven experiments in sector/firmographic based marketing campaigns that innovates user experience in campaigns; scale and drive automation of winning experiments that greatly improves user experience and engagement.
- Work in partnership with business development reps (BDRs) and business development managers (BDMs) in client pipeline-building within their designated territories leveraging outbound channel tactics for all ASC divisional products.
- Keep business development reps (BDRs), business development managers (BDMs) and the Head of Field Sales and wider commercial team up to date on current marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Help build sales-focused new business anchor client communication materials including email templates, nurture campaigns and collateral across the top, middle and bottom of the funnel, including drafting copy and project managing production. Leverage the internal content team and external agencies where applicable.
- Manage the growth of the prospective anchor client marketing database to ensure a universe of prospects that is constantly increasing and highly accurate (automating processes where needed/necessary).
- Support the Senior Outbound Manager in managing the reporting and monitoring success metrics for the new business anchor client outbound marketing channel and identify critical improvement opportunities within the programs with action items to address.
- Utilise AI optimisation, A/B, split & multivariate testing, and attribution modelling to drive intent and quality that ultimately converts leads into meetings, opportunities and won clients.
- Build effective communication with key internal stakeholders across all levels. Hold regular review sessions with BDRs and BDMs, Head of Field Sales, product, customer, digital to improve performance and to keep informed of trends, product developments and performance / customer feedback.
- Cover critical activities as required during outbound marketing executive absences.
Requirements
- Commercial experience working within a complex and fast paced B2B environment
- Strong experience managing performance marketing strategies for larger clients with longer sales cycles.
- Demonstrable experience developing sector-based focussed, ABM programmes.
- Good writing skills with a great eye for detail and ability to flex and adapt to engage difference audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
- Experience in identifying complex, multi-faceted target audiences and driving lead generation.
- Experience in managing corporate marketing events strategy and execution.
- Ability to work cross functionally with internal teams as well as with customers and partners
- Knowledge of marketing, events and sales enablement best practices.
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong experience with Marketing Automation software (HubSpot a plus).
- Experience working with MS Dynamics preferred.
