About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead / Support surgical freight initiatives
Be the SPOC / Project Lead for several transportation topics
Support with the preparation of the annual carrier budget + monitoring
Oversee the overall shipment flows
Cross collaboration with manufacturing sites, 3PL’s providers, and distribution centers on transfers and transportation needs between sites
Interface between Transportation SX and Global Transportation, APL Supply Chain HUB, EL Supply Chain / Logistics Operation, Warehouses, IT, etc.
Attend weekly orchestrator calls with the countries and stakeholders from other functions (S&OP, WH&D, Customer Operations) / lead and coordinate the transportation topics
Collaborate with our procurement team for RFQs and ad-hoc freight cost analysis
Perform “ad-hoc” analysis and on-going statistics
Active participation in continuous improvement process (CIP) by completing CIP projects to drive savings towards financial targets
Measure & improve service performance (on-time, OTIF…)
Resolve transportation routing errors, late pickups/deliveries
Support Global and Regional financial targets through operational excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant education enabling successful performance in logistics, supply chain, or related fields
Experience in transportation management, freight forwarding, vendor management, or supply chain operations
Strong technical understanding of logistics processes, customs compliance, and GxP‑aligned documentation practices
Behaviors that include proactive problem‑solving, clear communication, accountability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
