Refractive Surgical Sales Specialist – Capital Equipment

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Building strong relationships with ophthalmologists, clinics, and key opinion leaders to understand clinical and business needs and position tailored solutions
- Driving sales of capital equipment and refractive surgical platforms, managing complex negotiations and achieving territory targets.
- Analyzing territory performance, customer data, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and protect market share
- Traveling across the country to support customers, conduct product demonstrations, and close new business opportunities
- Collaborating with internal technical and commercial teams to ensure successful implementation, training, and ongoing customer satisfaction
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (Biomedical Engineering, Optometry, or related field preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in medical device, capital equipment, or consultative B2B sales
- Proven track record in negotiation and closing complex deals with multiple stakeholders
- Strong business acumen: ability to analyze data, understand market dynamics, and respond to competitor activity
- Exposure to ophthalmology, refractive technologies, or clinical environments (highly preferred)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- High level of discipline, autonomy, and execution focus in a results-driven environment
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
