About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and analyze changes in financial regulations and provide compliance guidance to relevant departments
  • Assist with internal compliance reporting and documentation as required
  • Analyze potential transaction laundering cases and escalate findings to relevant internal teams
  • Stay up to date with regulatory developments, particularly those affecting Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs), and assess their impact on the company
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research and support the drafting, evaluation, and revision of internal policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Respond to regulatory audits, reviews, and investigations (e.g. by the SFSA), addressing risks and ensuring company readiness and compliance
  • Provide regulatory compliance support to shared services functions across the company
  • Participate in internal policy updates and help embed regulatory best practices throughout the business
  • Carry out any other related duties as assigned by the Compliance Manager or direct supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6 months-1 year previous similar experience in a compliance role, preferably within an EMI/Payment Solutions/FinTech firm
  • Native/Business fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Law/Finance/Economics/Business or any other related field
  • Knowledge of AML regulations, EU directives, EBA guidance and financial crime compliance frameworks will be considered as an advantage
  • Must be resident in Sweden
  • Excellent attention to detail and investigative skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset to improve internal processes and support policy development
