About the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned enterprise accounts, ensuring consistent engagement at executive, operational, and technical levels.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to expand revenue, strengthen relationships, and position Albireo Energy as a preferred partner.
- Facilitate quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to align goals, review performance, and identify new opportunities.
- Maintain deep understanding of customer business drivers, technical requirements, and strategic priorities in mission critical environments.
- Identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts, including system upgrades, expansions, and new site deployments.
- Collaborate with estimators, engineers, and business development to design EPMS and BAS solutions tailored to each customer’s operational and compliance needs.
- Lead pursuit strategies for major opportunities, leveraging competitive intelligence and Albireo Energy’s full portfolio.
- Ensure opportunity management best practices in CRM, including stage progression, forecasting, and win/loss analysis.
- Partner with operations and project teams to ensure successful project execution, meeting performance, schedule, and budget targets.
- Monitor system performance and service contract compliance to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively address issues, risks, or escalations to maintain trust and long-term engagement.
- Stay current with trends, standards, and emerging technologies in Data Center controls, EPMS, and BAS.
- Represent Albireo Energy at industry events, trade shows, and customer-facing forums.
- Provide feedback to product and service teams on evolving customer needs and competitive dynamics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise account management, preferably within the Data Center, Mission Critical, or related technology sectors.
- Proven track record managing large, multi-site customer accounts with multi-million-dollar annual spend.
- Technical knowledge of EPMS (e.g., Schneider, Siemens, Eaton) and BAS platforms (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell).
- Strong understanding of power monitoring, building automation, and system integration in mission critical facilities.
- Experience in solution-based selling with long, complex sales cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent).
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field.
- Preferred: Familiarity with project delivery models for data center builds and retrofits.
- Preferred: Experience working with general contractors, engineers of record, and OEM partners.
- Preferred: Knowledge of ESG, energy efficiency, and green building compliance in data center operations.
