About the role

  • refreshing, maintaining and troubleshooting for assigned internal PowerBI accounting dashboards
  • perform daily validations, investigation and updates to accounting reports/dashboards signoff
  • support the team in ensuring controls operate effectively to support CSAE 3416 reporting requirements
  • assist in preparing periodic client financial reporting requirements, such as year-end financial reporting
  • improve documentation and provide input to policies and procedures

Requirements

  • pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • good understanding of investment accounting rules and guidelines including GAAP, PASB, IFRS, and the Financial Administration Act is an asset
  • proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • familiar with PowerBI and SQL
  • experience using data query/visualization tools would be an asset
  • exceptional attention to detail
  • ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • strong organizational and communication skills
