About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Welcome and onboard new health and dental clients
  • Explain coverage, benefits, claims processes, and Alberta Blue Cross tools and resources
  • Build trusted relationships through proactive outreach and client conversations
  • Review client needs, benefit utilization, and engagement patterns
  • Educate clients on maximizing benefit value and navigating coverage
  • Identify opportunities for plan modifications or additional insurance solutions
  • Resolve client questions and concerns with timely, personalized solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to advocate for clients and improve client experience
  • Share client insights and feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Drive outcomes including reduced cancellations, increased referrals, client satisfaction, onboarding completion, ongoing client contacts, and appropriate coverage recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Passion for exceptional client experiences and meaningful relationships
  • Strong communication skills and ability to simplify complex information
  • Consultative approach focused on understanding client needs
  • Analytical thinking and ability to interpret client information
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
  • Experience in insurance, health benefits, financial services, or client advisory roles preferred
  • Active Alberta Life and Accident & Sickness Insurance License, or ability to obtain and maintain licensing requirements
  • Commitment to continuous learning and client-first culture
  • 3 to 5+ years of outbound client sales and service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Criminal record check satisfactory to Alberta Blue Cross required after a conditional offer
