About the role
- Social Media & website maintenance: Conceptualize, write and provide technical support for our social media channels, and perform regular updates to our website
- Communications campaigns: Plan and execute creative campaigns that engage our target audiences
- Content creation: Draft copy for social media, PR, presentations and internal communications
- Video & graphic design: Develop storyboards, edit videos and create appealing graphics
- Analysis & reporting: Evaluate the performance of our social media activities and identify optimization opportunities
- Press relations: Handle press inquiries, research topics, send mailings and maintain distribution lists
- Event & project support: Assist with internal and external events as well as digital marketing projects
- Research & administrative tasks: Support data analysis and organizational duties.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a degree program in communications, media, marketing or a related field
- Creative with a strong command of language and an affinity for digital communication
- Initial experience with social media management, content creation and tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or video editing software
- Independent, structured and proactive working style with a hands-on mentality
- Team player with the motivation to drive initiatives forward.
