About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the administration of HR functions, with a primary focus on managing the employee lifecycle and onboarding of new employees
- Staff current openings and implement recruiting and staffing strategies to attract qualified talent
- Identify and implement efficient recruiting methods and strategies based on role requirements, industry standards, and organizational needs
- Build and maintain an industry and marketplace presence through job fairs, community network events, social media, and virtual and onsite career fairs
- Manage talent acquisition, including candidate search, screening, interviewing, and hiring
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates about application status
- Own and execute onboarding for new hires, including orientation, paperwork collection, and HRIS and training-system entry
- Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs, roles, and hiring criteria
- Assist with developing and revising job specifications and descriptions
- Oversee preparation of interview questions and hiring and selection materials
- Collaborate with the Human Resources Manager during onboarding, including tracking incentives, start dates, and related details
- Schedule background checks, drug screens, reference checks, and credential vetting
- Work with placement agencies during recruitment
- Conduct exit interviews and terminate employee privileges to maintain security
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
- At least three years of related recruiting experience required
- Two years of high-volume or manufacturing recruiting preferred
