About the role

  • Drive Enterprise Growth Through Strategic, Multi-Threaded Engagement
  • Identify and develop opportunities within large, complex enterprises
  • Advise customers on integrating AI-powered data intelligence
  • Collaborate Across the Ecosystem with product, marketing, and customer solutions teams
  • Apply enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC and Value Selling
  • Represent Alation at industry events and maintain expert awareness of market trends

Requirements

  • 10+ years of success in complex SaaS sales
  • Deep understanding of the data and emerging AI ecosystem
  • Proven success in influencing Chief Data Officers and AI/ML leaders
  • Experience selling in or alongside platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence
  • Collaborative and coachable mindset; thrives in cross-functional, fast-paced environments
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
