About the role

  • You proactively collaborate across departments with Controlling, Accounting/Bookkeeping and Legal to resolve complex issues
  • Independently manage core invoice processing, including recording and approvals
  • Serve as the point of contact for arising queries
  • Drive the digitalization, automation and optimization of our finance and accounting processes and oversee the implementation of new tools
  • Actively contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and help redesign workflows for greater efficiency

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in audit, tax advisory or corporate accounting (ideally in a start-up)
  • Familiarity with accounting and reporting issues under HGB (German Commercial Code) and IFRS
  • Strong IT affinity, particularly with Excel or Google Sheets; experience with ERP tools is an advantage
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking with an independent working style
  • Fluent in English and German
