About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct onboarding sessions for new sales representatives
- Facilitate ongoing training programs to reinforce sales processes
- Provide individualized coaching and feedback to sales representatives
- Shadow new representatives in the field
- Execute the company’s sales training curriculum consistently
- Partner with the Sales Training Manager to identify training needs
- Serve as a point of contact for new hires
- Assist in the development and updating of training materials
- Track and report on trainee progress
- Coordinate with internal and external staff and vendors for training classes
- Maintain strong relationships with managers and team leads
- Lead by example in a competitive environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the alarm/security industry
- Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience
- Strong understanding of business-to-business sales processes
- Experience in sales training, coaching, or onboarding programs (preferred)
- Experience developing or delivering structured training content (preferred)
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales performance metrics, and pipeline management
- Proven ability to deliver engaging training sessions, both in classroom and field settings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills with the confidence to lead groups
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
