About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain service and product integrations via APIs (REST/SOAP), including technical and functional documentation;
Create and optimize queries and routines in PostgreSQL databases, supporting reports and data extracts for business areas;
Handle, prioritize, and address recurring requests from business areas, acting in a consultative capacity;
Lead end-to-end software development projects: requirements gathering, specification, timeline tracking, user acceptance testing (UAT), and delivery;
Plan and execute software tests (functional, integration, and regression) to ensure the quality of deliverables;
Use artificial intelligence tools to support development, testing, and documentation;
Keep project management tools up to date with status, risks, and outstanding items for initiatives under your responsibility.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development (ADS), Engineering, or related fields;
Knowledge of PostgreSQL databases (SQL queries, optimization, and routine maintenance);
Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP), including authentication, error handling, and logging;
Familiarity with using artificial intelligence tools applied to development;
Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP protocols, JSON/XML) and basic backend concepts;
Experience managing software development projects (agile and/or traditional methodologies);
Knowledge of software testing (test plans and test cases, functional and integration testing);
Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Monday.com, or similar).
