You'll develop and maintain our Expo applications serving members across iOS and Android.
You'll optimize mobile performance, user experience, and offline capabilities.
You'll contribute to our mobile platform foundations and development practices.
You'll collaborate closely with designers and product teams to implement pixel-perfect, delightful mobile experiences.
You’ll have the opportunity to mentor other engineers & lead crews (more details in this article).
You’ll be able to contribute to hiring your future coworkers and shape candidates’ hiring experience (improving our technical assessment process etc...)
Requirements
You have strong experience with React Native (2+ years preferred) or native mobile development with willingness to work with React Native and Expo.
You understand iOS and Android platform specifics and mobile app deployments processes.
You have experience building member/consumer-facing mobile applications at scale.
You're comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript and React ecosystem. Experience with native module development (Objective-C/Swift for iOS, Java/Kotlin for Android) is a plus.
You understand mobile performance optimization and can implement platform-specific solutions when needed.
You're familiar with mobile testing frameworks and debugging tools.
Self-starting and entrepreneurial.
Humble and still willing to grow (no matter your seniority!).
Collaborative, enthusiastic about teamwork, learning, and teaching.
Fluent in English (no need to speak French!).
