About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and and price insurance offers,
- Monitor the business and the risks,
- Help the rest of the team understand the subtleties of healthcare and insurance.
- Contribute to new product design and pricing strategies.
- Support Sales with insurance expertise to help sign large customers in Belgium.
- Monitor the portfolio and improve the depth and accuracy of reporting.
- Document and structure insurance knowledge to up-level the Belgium team.
- Join the insurance on-call rotation to support internal teams with day-to-day questions.
- Work with Engineering on tools that create tailored insurance offers at scale.
- Being part of an insurance community at the global level, with an impact on our organisation, hiring and training across multiple countries.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You combine a scientific background (actuarial sciences, statistics, mathematics or data science) with a first experience or strong interest in insurance (product, pricing, regulatory or analytics)
- You have strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data, business and legal questions into actionable outputs
- You have a builder mindset: you continuously identify opportunities to improve and scale processes and systems
- You are willing to deeply change the insurance and healthcare industry and challenge the status quo
- You communicate in a clear, structured and to-the-point way in English (written and spoken)
