About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the financial controlling of Alan's international entities
Define and structure the working model with local accountants in each international entity
Monitor and challenge local accounting outputs
Ensure full consistency between local accounting and our central production scope
Build the financial controlling function in France
Define dashboards and drive automation
Own financial reporting including monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reviews
Organize the finance function in subsidiaries and financial integration of potential acquired companies
Partner with cross-functional teams for financial data understanding and decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of experience in accounting and how financial statements work across multiple entities or geographies
Proven experience coordinating external accounting firms and/or overseeing multi-country financial reporting
Background in a top audit firm and/or a fast-paced scale-up
Fluent in English; additional European language(s) are a strong plus
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and communicate it clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Basic SQL or AI tools knowledge is a bonus
Rigorous, autonomous, proactive and solution-oriented
Strong communicator with both internal teams and external partners
Familiarity with insurance accounting or regulated financial entities is a strong plus
