About the role

Develop and maintain Expo applications serving members across iOS and Android
Optimize mobile performance, user experience, and offline capabilities
Contribute to mobile platform foundations and development practices
Collaborate closely with designers and product teams to implement pixel-perfect mobile experiences
Mentor other engineers and lead crews; contribute to hiring and shaping candidate experience
Participate in improving technical assessment and development practices

2+ years of mobile development experience (Mobile Software Engineer)
Strong experience with React Native (2+ years preferred) or native mobile development
Understanding of iOS and Android platform specifics and app deployment processes
Experience building member/consumer-facing mobile applications at scale
Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript and React ecosystem
Experience with native module development (Objective-C/Swift for iOS, Java/Kotlin for Android) is a plus
Understanding of mobile performance optimization and ability to implement platform-specific solutions
Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks and debugging tools
Self-starting and entrepreneurial mindset
Humble and willing to grow regardless of seniority
Collaborative and enthusiastic about teamwork, learning, and teaching
Fluent in English
