Strengthen and automate building the Solvency II balance sheet and capital requirements projections covering health, death and disability business lines.
Model new risks when they arise (new insurance products, branches, international, investment etc.).
Challenge risk appetite, propose new risk metrics and build tools to monitor them.
Support board meeting preparation and communication with investors regarding capital evolution and market risks.
Scale and automate production of regulatory quantitative reporting and contribute to SFCR, RSR and ORSA narratives.
Support discussions with supervisors and assist assessment of international opportunities and country openings.
Propose improvements to capital management across the four countries where Alan is present.
Manage reinsurance strategy: negotiate with reinsurance partners and analyze reinsurance reporting.
Create processes and resources to strengthen the team’s understanding of risk and capital constraints and support hiring new talents for Insurance and Risk teams.
Requirements
Solid expertise of the Solvency 2 regulatory framework, especially for S2 accounting; knowledge of Health, Life and Market risks a bonus.
Fluent in English and written fluency in French for regulatory interactions.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, including data analysis capabilities.
Ability to automate processes and build new tools; programming skills a plus.
Rigor and reliability in reporting production; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness/confidence to learn new tools, technologies and methodologies.
Prior experience working in an insurance company (asked in application form).
