About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Owning Akur8’s partner relationships across the US and Canada
- Building clear engagement plans with strategic partners
- Work with Marketing and key partners to develop joint campaigns and events
- Partner with Account Executives throughout active sales cycles
- Identify and win opportunities where a system integrator will support implementation
- Coordinate partner training and certification programs with Akur8’s Actuarial Data Science and Solution Delivery teams
- Develop new relationships with system integrators and other relevant firms in the US insurance market
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of experience in partnerships, alliances, or business development
- Managed several executive-level relationships at large professional services firms or SIs
- Strong understanding of the US insurance market and its key players
- Comfortable owning commercial outcomes
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently
- Enthusiastic about technology and can speak credibly about software products with technical and business audiences alike
- Fluent English is required; additional languages are a plus
